A classy antique Edwardian diamond spray brooch made during the Belle Époque period (Circa 1910). It has an abstract, asymmetrical design modelled in solid platinum, with ribbon and flower flourishes depicted in a flowing Art Nouveau fashion.
The Belle Époque, or “Beautiful era” spanned three distinct jewellery periods from 1890 -1915. It was a time of increasing wealth and flourishing arts across western society, with Belle Epoque pieces worn as a sign of wealth and status.
Each curled accent is lined with a dazzling array of brilliant cut diamonds and a row of baguette cuts that graduate and curve effortlessly around the brooches unique shape. They’re extremely bright and full of life, with exceptional VS/ SI 1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 5 carats.
It displays stunning workmanship, with lots of character and is held securely by a double pin and safety lock clasp at the back.
